There was a time when I, as a devout Red Sox fan, could stand on my moral ground and rant away at the Evil Empire in the Bronx. The Yankees seemed to have such an unfair advantage over the rest of baseball. That time has now clearly passed.
With Curt Schilling’s season in doubt, the Red Sox are bringing in former Cy Young Winner Bartolo Colon. Although he’s struggled with injuries over the last two years, if Colon is healthy and has anything left at 34, his minor league contract might turn into a major league deal for the Sox.
On the other hand, take a look at Colon’s current physique:

Bartolo Colon was disappointing last game… I’m hoping he can bounce back with a strong performance next game…
